Berlin Trip – The Berlin Zoo

Trip

Every time I went to the Zoo I always had mixed feelings. On one hand, I wonder if that’s the life they supposed to live. I couldn’t help wonder if they are aware of their captivity. On the other hand I love to see animals. They are so cute, and they remind me life could be that simple. Visiting zoos always reminds me my childhood. My mother would take to the local zoo. We would then feed monkeys, watch tigers, lions and bears. I only realized much later that it must have been a horrible life for these en-caged animals, the big predictors in particular. I then recalled how the lions and the tigers would walk very nervously around the 10 square meter cage, and how the bears would "stand" up and "hold" the bar of the cage. Anyway, I still cannot resist the charm of zoos. And I hope that my ticket would help to improve the conditions for all the animals in the zoo.

Here is a group of photos of Pelekans

Monkeys are always my favorite.

I’m always curious what monkeys are thinking? Maybe they are like men. You think they are thinking about something serious but actually they were just wondering how a fly can stick to the ceiling.
